The 7taps Microlearning team is excited to announce a whole bunch of new microlearning product updates, immediately available in the 7taps Microlearning Platform. These new features are designed to help our existing customers get more value out of 7taps. This release introduces a new card type, new automation options, more integrations, and better usability. All of the features listed below are already available, just login to 7taps to start creating!

New card type — the Rate card

Rate cards provide a way for learners to give rating feedback. Providing feedback through the Rate card can be optional or mandatory, depending on the settings.

The Rate card can be set up by choosing one of the three available rating types:

1. Stars – 1 to 5 stars
2. Emojis – sad, neutral, happy
3. Thumbs – down, up

Here are some ways you can leverage the Rate card in a microlearning course, with our latest microlearning product updates:

1. Learners can rate the clarity, relevance, and helpfulness of microlearning modules or learning paths.
2. Learners can assess their progress in acquiring specific skills and provide insights on areas needing improvement.
3. Learners can rate extra resources provided with a course.

After you choose your preferred rating system, you can prompt the learner with what they are rating. After learners provide a rating, the learner feedback will be instantly available in your course statistics.

Scheduling learning paths with a single course

Learning Paths are a great way to build our learning curriculum and automate sending courses to learners. With this 7taps microlearning product update, you can schedule a single course to be sent out at a future date and time.

To set this up, navigate to the Learning Paths tab and create a new learning path. You can then choose how you want to share your course(s), email and SMS, Slack, and Microsoft Teams are all supported.

After you choose your preferred sharing method, you can select the course(s) you want to share and schedule the sending date and time. Click save and start and you are all set!

You can add additional courses to active learning paths. This new capability also lets you get your first course scheduled while the next courses are being developed and finalized.

Human resource management systems integration enhancements

Another 7taps microlearning product update, is that we’ve added integrations with dozens of human resource management systems. This new release includes integrations with BambooHR, Deel, Paychex, and lots more.

Integrating 7taps with your HRMS helps you quickly import your learners and organize learners into logical groups, share courses, and measure the results.

By importing your learners into 7taps you will see the status of assigned courses for each learner and send out nudges / reminders for courses that are assigned but not yet completed.

"Copy in" for faster course creation

We’ve gotten a ton of feedback from our creator community about being able to create content even more quickly. You have been asking for the ability to copy cards between courses and use a template course to quickly create courses.

Well, you asked, and we listened. With Copy-In you can copy single or multiple cards from one microlearning course to another. And it is really easy!

Create a course, select Copy-In from the right hand menu, select the course you want to copy cards from and finally choose which cards you want to copy. This should help accelerate course creation even more!

Single sign-on learner stats

7taps got even better for customers using single-sign on. Now when any learner takes a course that is protected by SSO, 7taps will automatically capture the learner information and all learner stats, no matter how you share the course. This makes it even easier for you to protect confidential information and also evaluate learner performance.

This list of new capabilities only includes the highlights. Many other tweaks and updates were made to enhance your 7taps learning experience.
